Wow, I can't believe it's over!

OK, for all who were there with us, you know how amazing it was, and it was so great to have you join in our simcha. For those who were not, I just can't describe the incredible feelings of simcha and naches we all felt. The boys did an amazing job in shul, they leined and davened like pros, their voices clear, pure and beautiful. They wowed a standing room only crowd. They also gave speeches in shul, and we, the parents, were overflowing with pride. The shabbos was beautiful - we had over 100 close friends and family staying with us from out of town, and over 100 more joined us for kiddush. I could go on and on with how amazing it was. Then the party is Queens was beautiful, even if there were too many speeches and not enough dancing...We all had a blast. I thanked everyone then in my too long speech so I won't do it again. Pictures will be uploaded soon, as soon as we get them - long story. I am uploading several things, however -
1 - the speeches, in case you missed them or want to hear them again - rather, read them. 2 -The Gedolim for Ketanim project - twenty biographies of gedolim that the kids researched and served as part of each table's centerpiece and 3 - the powerpoint slide show video that ended up being cut from the main program due to lack of time and was shown in the hallway on the way in and out of the dining room. MANY hours went into it - like 100 over several months - so please enjoy it at your leisure if you can. this is actually the abridged version. If you'd like to see the full 17 minute version, let us know. I know - don't hold my breath:).

One more thing - the tzedaka the boys chose to donate a portion of their gifts to, as well as collect more for, is the Kever Rachel Fund. Kever Rachel is in danger of being lost to us as a haven, sanctuary and place of refuge and prayer. This organization is doing everything in their power to maintain a Jewish presence in the center of a hotbed of terrorism, and provide a safe and comfortable environment. Furthermore, they provide food and basic necessities to the soldiers stationed there to help make their jobs easier, and they provide Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations for boys and girls from non-religious homes and victims of terror, among many other worthy projects. If you'd like to make a donation to this very worthy cause, please send it to:
